Day 1 – Arrive in Srinagar | Shikara Ride on Dal Lake
Welcome to Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir — a paradise of pristine lakes and mountain backdrops. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your traditional houseboat on Dal Lake.
Later, enjoy a Shikara ride on the lake, gliding through floating gardens, lotus blooms, and local markets. Watch the sun dip behind the snow-capped Pir Panjal range — a picture-perfect Kashmiri evening.
Overnight stay on the houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 2 – Srinagar to Gulmarg (Approx. 50 km / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the meadow of flowers — Gulmarg, nestled at 8,800 ft. Once a favorite summer retreat for the British, it is now a haven for skiers and nature lovers alike.
Ride the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the world’s highest cable cars, offering panoramic views of the Apharwat Peak. If weather permits, you can enjoy snow activities like sledging or skiing.
Return to your hotel in the evening and enjoy dinner by the fireplace.

Day 3 – Gulmarg to Pahalgam (Approx. 140 km / 4.5 hrs)
Post breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds.” On the way, stop by Awantipora Ruins, a 9th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and unwind amidst lush pine forests and the soothing sound of the Lidder River.
Spend your evening exploring the local market or take a gentle stroll through the meadows.

Day 4 – Pahalgam – Aru Valley – Betaab Valley – Chandanwari
After breakfast, take an excursion to the Aru and Betaab Valleys, where rolling meadows, clear streams, and mountain views create postcard-perfect scenery. Visit Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, surrounded by stunning glaciers.
Optional pony rides and local photography spots are available here. Return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5 – Pahalgam to Sonmarg (Approx. 180 km / 5 hrs)
Today, travel to Sonmarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” The journey itself is mesmerizing — tall pine forests, river crossings, and snow-covered peaks accompany you all the way.
Upon arrival, enjoy leisure time or take an optional pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier, where the snow remains throughout the year.
Overnight stay in Sonmarg.
Day 6 – Sonmarg to Srinagar | Mughal Gardens Tour
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. In the afternoon, visit the exquisite Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi — masterpieces of Persian architecture set against the Dal Lake backdrop.
Later, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, offering panoramic views of the city and lake below.
Spend your evening shopping for Pashmina shawls, carpets, and saffron in the local bazaars.

Day 7 – Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the valley of dreams. You’ll be transferred to the Srinagar airport for your onward journey — taking with you the peace, beauty, and warmth of Kashmir.
